Boeing wins Navy MMA contract

Boeing Company has bagged the multi-billion dollar development contract to build the Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft (MMA), the Navy's submarine-hunting and patrolling aircraft, from its rival competitor Lockheed Martin Corporation. Boeing has also offered the Navy its worldwide 737 supply and maintenance network, and highlighted the economy of adding MMAs to its existing production line in Renton, Washington.

McCain: Air Force "credibility" at stake over Boeing tanker deal

US Sen. John McCain lashed Gen. Michael Moseley, the Air Force Vice Chief of Staff, for providing 'contradictory' testimony in his demand for the replacement of service's ageing tankers. He said that Moseley harms the credibility of the US Air force as well as that of the American people in this way.
