Better controls
Article Abstract:
Roxspur produces measuring equipment and plans to acquire Clayhithe, which makes controls. The acquisition would double the size of Roxspur and the company would become more attractive to institutional investors. Roxspur would be able to sell measuring devices in the context of a larger control system with the acquisition of Clayhithe. Roxspur is well placed in niche markets and benefits from strong demand for its existing activities, which have expanded since Sensit was acquired in Jan 1998.
