Analyst report flags $60 billion in potential defense cuts
Article Abstract:
A new report by a defense analyst suggests that the Pentagon might cut $60 billion from its proposed fiscal 2007 budget without hurting the US military strength. The Washington-based Center for Defense Information (CDI) report states that these cuts would in fact strengthen the US defenses and allow the money to be spent in a better way.
