Article Abstract:
Lockheed Martin - Sanders, Nashua, N.H., was incrementally awarded $1,000,000 under a $7,600,000 "other transaction for prototypes" on July 1, 1998, for the Airborne Communications Node program to demonstrate enhanced communications capabilities to and among deployed or maneuvering forces. Work will be performed in Scottsdale, Ariz. (13%); Cincinnati, Ohio (13%); Atlanta, Ga. (2%); Morristown, N.J. (7%); Arlington, Va. (2%); Arlington Heights, Ill. (3%); Carlsbad, Calif. (2%); Eagan, Mich. (8%); and Nashua, N.H. (50%). The agreement estimated completion date is December 30, 1999. Agreement funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The agreement is the result of a solicitation issued on March 30, 1998; four offerswere received. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the contracting activity (MDA972-98-9-0011).
