Sales force automation (SFA) software tools are changing the nature of selling and marketing. More and more marketers are using SFA software to determine the needs and wants of their customers. SFA tools such as Leadership 2000's CoNexus and Sales Focus' Customer Focus allow marketers to generate accurate customer profiles that lead to greater sales opportunities. SFA software solutions also help salespeople better understand their customers, thus, promoting a lasting relationship with them.

Westin vs. Marriott a draw, but neither site accommodating
Article Abstract:
A panel of 50 people were asked to choose between Marriott Hotel or the Westin Hotel for a business meeting of 100 people in Chicago, IL, using information from their Web sites. The respondents found it very difficult to access the Web sites especially when search engines were used which produced no results. Results indicated that neither hotel was able to provide enough data on their Web sites to avoid the necessity of a phone call.
