Moving beyond the Baldrige: a call for a systems award for quality improvement
Article Abstract:
The Systems Award for Quality Improvement would require the empowerment of all employees within an organization. All employees would participate and be able to communicate with anyone else in the organization. A reward system that focused on cooperation, so all employees are winners, would need to be in place.

Learning from Baldrige winners at the University of Alabama
Article Abstract:
The University of Alabama Quality Advisory Board, comprised of private sector Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award winners, established a mission statement, value set and vision statement for the university. The positive results are already evident.
