Article Abstract:
General Electric International, Inc., GE Engine Services, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $14,080,800 direct vendor delivery requirements contract for repair, a three-year warranty and material management functions for four T-700 engine components used on H-60, AH-1W and SH-2G aircraft. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $56,182,316. Work will be performed in Arkansas City, Kansas, and is expected to be completed in October 2003 (inclusive of options). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-98-D-022F).

GEC Marconi Avionics, Inc., Norcross, Ga., is being awarded a $12,152,157 direct vendor delivery requirements contract for the direct vendor delivery supply support of the standard central air data computer systems used on F-14, E-2C, C-2, S-3 and EA-6B aircraft. This contract contains options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contract to $27,002,948. Work will be performed in Norcross, Ga., and is expected to be completed by September 2008. Contract funds in the amount of $2,768,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
