Article Abstract:
Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Sudbury, Mass., is receiving a $9,450,780 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-5199 for production special tooling and test equipment to support production of AEGIS Weapon Systems OT-188/SPY-1D(V) Transmitter Groups and Fire Control System MK 99 MOD 3 ancillary equipment. The production special tooling and test equipment is to support shipsets of equipment that will be installed aboard ARLEIGH BURKE DDG 51 class destroyers. Work will be performed in Andover, Mass. (80%); and Sudbury, Mass. (20%), and is expected to be completed by Feb. 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Information Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $48,422,237 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0222 to exercise an option for the procurement of nine hybrid and 30 radio frequency consolidated automated support system (CASS) stations. The CASS is a suite of automated test equipment designed to diagnose and repair complex weapon systems electronics. Work will be performed in Americus, Ga. (90%), and Orlando, Fla. (10%), and is expected to be completed by April 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
