New load balancers can help your site serve more customers
Article Abstract:
The use of computer software tools called load balancers allows companies to manage traffic on their World Wide Web servers. Load balancers automatically reroute incoming calls among the servers to ease the traffic. In addition, these programs prevent traffic overload by continuously tracking the condition of the servers. While load balancers are offered as a specialized form of software, their features might be eventually integrated into Web server platforms and Internet routers that would see major computer manufacturers offer such tools to enhance Web traffic delivery.

Java still searching for its place in the Sun
Article Abstract:
The Java programming language from Sun Microsystems still remains fairly undistinguished in the Internet and World Wide Web environment. Java's ability to provide animation and interaction for Web sites and its capability to run in any platform are very promising features. However, very few have applied Java for designing Web sites because Java programs have been observed to be slow and expensive. The Java programming language has found its niche, however, in the programming of intranet and extranet sites.
