New software to help keep missions up-to-date
Article Abstract:
SRI International, a California-based research house, is developing intelligent software to enable Special Operations Forces to adapt their mission plan as the situation around them changes. The company has created the software, called COORDINATORs, under the contract with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where the system uses distributed computing to keep mission planning up-to-date without a centralized point or centralized point-of-failure.
