Northrop Grumman gains $142 million Airborne Laser Pact

The Missile Defense Agency awarded Northrop Grumman Corp. with a $142 million contract for systems engineering, planning and logistics support for its Airborne Laser boost phase missile defense program. Under this contract, the Northrop Grumman's Information technology sector will provide technical and administrative support, including understanding technical program challenges, analyzing and predicting performance and conducting optimal system design plans for the Airborne Laser Program.

Northrop, Lockheed venture gains $140 million for cutter

The Coast Guard awarded Integrated Coast Guard Systems (IGCS), a joint venture of Northrop Grumman Corporation and Lockheed Martin Corp., $140 million toward building the first large cutter in the record $17 billion multi-year Deepwater vessels-and-aircraft procurement program. The Coast Guard re-named all three classes of cutters to be produced in the Deepwater program.
