Partners: An endangered species?
Article Abstract:
The Top 60 survey of firms exposed the fact that the almost half of the traditional partnership firms have changed to limited liability partnerships and others are evaluating their status regularly. A number of firms have abandoned the partnership structure altogether and opted for limited or listed company status, putting a big question mark over the existence of partnership firms in the 21st century.

Griffith-Jones takes helm at KPMG
Article Abstract:
John Griffith-Jones has taken the top job at KPMG in October 2006, replacing outgoing senior partner Mike Rake. Griffith-Jones, who denied that his appointment marked a radical departure from Rake's tenure, predicted that KPMG would keep growing as London reaped the benefit of over-regulation of the American capital markets.
