Comparative Compensation Practices in the Telemarketing Industry
Article Abstract:
A survey of telemarketing service vendors throughout the Continental United States was conducted. The range of salaries for telemarketing employees is shown. Other factors analyzed were the number of hours worked, TSR experience level, inbound or outbound job requirements and type of product. Benefits and salaries were quite good. Tables are included for the survey data.

The techniques employed include advertising, staff planning, training programs and sales evaluations.
