Some new ideas
Article Abstract:
With the FTSE 100 index (5940), June 6000 calls (480p) are held with a stop limit at 5750. The large institutions are not hurrying to raise their risk level. Glaxo Wellcome (1,960p) has fallen away and the uptrend with British Telecom (950p) remains intact. More bearish chart patterns are emerging, indicating that buyers are not keen to push prices higher. Stocks for which traded options have moved to a bearish pattern including Abbey National, National Power, J Sainsbury, Thames Water and Marks and Spencer.
