Article Abstract:
Addleshaws is a law firm from Manchester, England, which has provided help for the purchase of newspaper titles by Trinity International Holdings. The purchase took place in 1995 following a year of negotiations. Addleshaws had previously carried out work for Trinity. Pension fund capital
Article Abstract:
Management buy-ins and buy-outs represent a dynamic ares for UK investment but fund managers tend to be cautious when considering this sector. Venture capital involves a long-term investment and funds may be judged on their short-term performance so a change in perception is needed if funds are to increase their involvement in venture capital. More information is also needed to attract investment. UK pension funds look set to follow the US example and increase involvement in this sector.
