Unraveling protein interaction networks with near-optimal efficiency
Article Abstract:
A method in which the information gained from pull-down experiments is demonstrated in which single proteins act as baits to detect interaction with other proteins is maximized by using a network-based strategy to select the baits. It is estimated that 90% of the human interactome can be covered by 10000 pull-down experiments, with 50% of the interactions confirmed by reciprocal pull-down experiments.

Protein interaction maps on the fly
Article Abstract:
Drosophilia melanogaster, a fruit fly whose protein interaction map gives an easy way for the functional analysis of many eukaryotic proteins is presented. The fly network has generated many novel hypotheses for biologist working on individual proteins, pathways or processes to investigate.

Quantitative analysis of allosteric drug-protein binding by biointeraction chromatography
Article Abstract:
A method for quantitatively characterizing the allosteric effects by using protein columns is presented. This method is applied to many receptors or biopolymers and also used to examine the effects of two competing agents during an allosteric interaction.
