Article Abstract:
Improved troop seats in the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft would be evaluated when the V-22s enters the operational evaluation (OPEVAL) tests. As part of the Osprey improvements, the new seats replace sub-standard troop seats that have been extended, so that they do not cut into the thigh of the average-size and are stronger too.
