Study of microstructural characterization and ionic conductivity of a chemical-covalent polyether-siloxane hybrid doped with LiClO(sub 4)

Article Abstract:

The effect of the LiClO(sub 4) salt-doped level on the microstructure and ionic conductivity in the chemical covalent polyether-siloxane hybrid host is investigated. The experiments show that the conductivity behavior follows VTF-like temperature dependence, suggesting that the charge-carrier transport is coupled with segmental motion of the polymer host and that a strong correlation exists between ion transport and ionic species exists in these hybrid electrolytes.

Ionic conductivity of nonaqueous solvent-swollen ionomer membranes based on fluorosulfonate, fluorovarboxylate, and sulfonate fixed ion groups

Article Abstract:

High ionic conductivities of 10(super -4) to 10(super -2) s/cm are achieved with Li(super +) -form perfluorosulfonate ionomers over a wide temperature range by swelling in nonaqueous organic solvents. These results are compared with other ionomer membranes, including those having hydrocarbons backbones and weaker acid groups, to correlate ionic conductivity with ionomer structure.

Transport and structural properties of pure and Cr doped Li3VO4

Article Abstract:

The effect of 5 and 10 percent chromium additions on the transport and structural properties of Li3VO4 is examined. X-ray powder diffraction and micro-Raman analysis reveal that the Cr substitution is easily obtained without impurity phases and is ineffective in the room- and high-temperature host crystal structure.
