Vibrational spectroscopy of aqueous sodium halide solutions and air-liquid interfaces: observation of increased interfacial depth
Article Abstract:
Vibrational sum frequency generation spectroscopy is used to study air-aqueous sodium halide interfaces. Higher concentrations of bromide and iodide anions in the interfacial region with an increase in interfacial depth are seen in the analysis of the spectra.
