Article Abstract:
Two seventy-three year-olds used to writing and rewriting long manuscripts in long hand learned how to use a computer to shorten the task. The couple purchased a microcomputer system to fit their needs and had it set up for them by their son, a computer systems consultant with university-level teaching experience. The system's typing tutor program helped the couple learn to type and develop their word processing skills.
