Manufacturers of data projectors have introduced their latest line of products. The new products feature several innovations such as sophisticated programs that allow the creation of powerful presentations that use audio-video elements; projectors with a CCD camera; projectors with PC Card slots; and reflective-format projectors with a small reflective-format panel. The latest models can also work with animation and audio data, and can also work with real-time information obtained from in-house database and Internet sites.

Hitachi's projector uses memory, not cue cards to recall data

Hitachi Ltd is offering the CP-X935J projector that uses memory, rather than cue cards, to recal data to the screen. The 4.4kg, XGA-compatible projector features a mode that allows users to enlarge details of the images on screen, and a remote control with a built-in pointer. In addition, the multimedia CP-X935J projector delivers an A4 format, and offers luminance of 800 ANSI lumens.
