Article Abstract:
The Zenith Z-100 series of microcomputers feature 128K RAM, an IBM-compatible board with four slots for expansion, two RS232C serial ports and one parallel port. Zenith has improved the detached keyboard with enlarged return and shift keys. The three desktop models retail for $2,699 for the 5.25-inch single disk drive, $3,099 for the dual, and $4,799 for the 10.6 MB hard disk drive. Monitors are optional. The two portables in the series, each with nine-inch screens, retail for $2,799 for the single disk drive and $3,199 for the dual.

Article Abstract:
The IBM 9002 desktop minicomputer is bringing the power of the mini closer to the price and availability of the microcomputer. The 32-bit 9002, run on a Motorola 68000 microprocessor, can host up to four users and can support up to four 10MB hard disk drives, four floppy disk drives, and a printer. The optional Xenix operating system with C language compiler makes UNIX software available for use. Pascal, FORTRAN, and RM- COBOL compilers are also optional programs.
