Planning the Proper Training Environment
Article Abstract:
Guidelines for providing optimum training facilities include a separate training facility away from interruptions, interruptions only for real emergencies, back-up equipment for presenters, training materials organized and available before sessions begin, and materials identical to those trainees will use on the job. Useful for training sessions are projectors, videocassette players, and screens; ergonomically-designed seating; adequate work space; a demonstration area, proper wiring and a pleasant atmosphere including good lighting.
