Borland hopes Kylix is right answer
Article Abstract:
Borland International Inc expects its latest $100,000-direct mail campaign for the launch of its Kylix product will help generate millions in revenue. Kylix, which became available in late Jan 2001, is a rapid application tool for Linux. Using the theme of the ABC game show 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?,' the front of the direct mail piece presents a question with four possible answers, Kylix being the right one. The campaign targeted two demograhics, namely around 55,000 Delphi developers and another 130,000 prospects who are Linux developers.
