Spenco irons out wrinkles in DRTV launch
Article Abstract:
Spenco Medical Corp will launch in Sep 2001 a direct response television (DRTV) campaign for its new wrinkle-reducing skin cream, called N2S, or Nature's Second Skin. The 30-min infomercial will feature testimonials from consumers who have used N2S and before-and-after shots of product use, as well as opinions of dermatologists. According to Spenco Canada Pres Gerard Mayne, the DRTV effort is an opportunity to establish a product and brand name in a market where the company has no presence.
