PWC banned on Cape Hatteras Seashore
Article Abstract:
Personal watercraft (PWC) has been banned from the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The decision to ban PWC, made by the National Park Service, was based on a survey conducted by the government agency among the users of the beach and wildlife refuge. The survey, which revealed an 11 to 1 ratio against PWC, resulted in a number of angry responses for the pleasure craft and a call for their outright ban.
