Network Commerce Inc of Seattle, WA, and search engine Goto.com have entered a two-year deal that will allow the search engine to be distributed on Web sites owned by Network Commerce. The agreement will permit Goto.com to take advantage of Network Commerce's vast network, which is composed of over 60,000 merchants and 7,000 affiliate sites. Network Commerce reported over 55 million visits to its online network in 1st qtr 2000 alone.

Staples.com adds Web design channel

Staples.com of Framingham, MA, and CloudSource Inc of Oakland, CA, have entered an alliance that will result in the establishment of an online Web design channel. Under the terms of the agreement, Staples will market CloudSource's Web design expertise to small- and medium-sized firms who wish to have an online presence. The service will also be available to online companies who want to improve their existing Web sites.

MyCounsel.com lands slot at Staples.com

Boston, MA-based MyCounsel.com has started offering its services at Staples.com's Legal and Insurance channel. The Internet legal services is offering a $100 rebate on business contract reviews which it usually offers for $150. Its other services include commercial lease reviews for $250 and small-business consultations for $75. The financial terms of the agreement with Staples.com were not disclosed.
