An e-mail that makes incorrect statements about how a new law will affect credit reporting agencies is being addressed by the U.S. Fair Trade Commission. The FTC, along with Associated Credit Bureaus, are attempting to clarify the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Modernization Act.
