Industry leaders are bullish on 2006
Article Abstract:
Boating industry leaders are optimistic about the prospects of the industry in 2006, despite the recent hurricanes, rising interest rates and fuel prices. Thom Dammrich, president of National Marine Manufacturers Association is of the opinion that even if gasoline touches $3 per gallon in spring, it is only a small component of the total spending by the industry. Dammrich expects the industry to gain substantially from the standards and certifications under Grow Boating initiative.
