BBDO gets $50 million Office Depot account

BBDO New York has been named agency of record for Office Depot's $50- million advertising account, besting Grey Worldwide New York, DDB Worldwide Chicago and Gold Coast Assoc, after a four-month review. BBDO New York will oversee creative for Office Depot's ad campaign while Rapp Collins Worldwide will handle direct marketing, and @tmosphere New York will be responsible for online marketing. Office Depot operates 820 office supply stores in North America, and mails 300 million catalogs in 12 countries and nine languages.
