Ticket giveaway launches Orbitz

Orbitz sold over $1 million airline tickets and attracted over 300,000 unique visitors and 38,000 registered members on its Web site that was introduced in Jun 4, 2001. The promotion which runs through Jul 15, offers a ticket anywhere in the US once per hour and a ticket anywhere in the world once per week. To join the sweepstakes, consumers register for the Orbitz site by entering their e-mail addresses, names, ZIP codes and home city airports. Also, participants may opt in for e-mail travel updates.

Natrol targets women for weight-loss infomercial

Natrol Inc is rolling out an informercial that will support the launching of its new weight-loss system in late Feb 2001. The product, called the Cory Everson Solutions Weight Loss System, is targeted to women ages 25 to 50. It includes a whey- and soy-based meal replacement protein powder; a capsule labeled Cravex to control cravings; and a body-toxin cleansing formula. A one-month supply of the system costs $59.99.
