Denver, CO-based real estate investment trust (REIT), Commercial Assets Inc (CAI), has announced that it is pulling out its $2.5 million investment in Westrec Marina Managemet Inc. Officials of the REIT have decided to focus on the manufactured housing market after seeing the slow return on investment in the overpriced marina market. Westrec officials, on the other hand, believe that CAI's pullout will not significantly affect the financial standing of the company and are considering stock buyback.
