Autopsy on an empire: understanding morality in Russia and the former Soviet Union
Article Abstract:
The life expectancy for men and women in Russia has fallen drastically. The life expectancy of males has fallen from 64.2 years in 1989 to 57.6 in 1994. The situation is similar in the former Soviet Union countries- from Estonia to Ukraine.
