Does shareholder primacy lead to a decline in managerial accountability?
Article Abstract:
The effects of shareholder primacy on the increase in executive compensations and accounting irregularities are analyzed. To prove the argument that shareholder primacy, rather than gatekeeper failure, is the most effective way to promote managerial accountability, three previous studies are analyzed. Empirical evidence was also used to confirm this hypothesis.

Does modern endogenous growth theory adequately represent Allyn Young?
Article Abstract:
A study of Allyn Young's concept of increasing returns in the endogenous growth theory is presented. The theory explains why per capita income grows more in capital abundant countries when compared to that in capital poor countries. The theory contradicts the predictions arrived at from the law of diminishing returns.
