Editors' introduction
Article Abstract:
The International Society for Bayesian Analysis held its first riverboat conference from Apr. 29 to May 4, 1993, where its members discussed the historical background of Bayesian analysis, the contributions of its founders, its applications in modeling, probability theory and other scientific applications. Bayesian analysis is primarily involved in the reporting and communication of probabilities and to the usage of the most efficient methods for computing such probabilities. Several of the papers presented at the conference elaborated on such topics.

Bayesian model selection with an uninformative prior
Article Abstract:
The authors use a re-specification of a triangular model and cointegration analysis parameter of interest to permit Bayesian comparison of cointegration models with ignorance priors. The method is applied to an interest rate term structure model as an illustration.
