The trouble with stock options
Article Abstract:
The trouble with stock options are explored, by describing the patterns in employee options since the early 1990s and by describing the relevant tax and accounting rules. In addition, the efficiency of providing compensation and incentives are analyzed using stock options, focusing on the fact that risk-averse and undiversified employees value options significantly less tan they cost the company to grant.
