Article Abstract:
Applicants to a position in an economic development organization should be aware that there is keen competition in the field and that willingness to relocate may be a plus factor for their eventual hiring. Article Abstract:
A summary of survey results undertaken from 1988-1995 on the attitudes and work habits of economic development practitioners shows among other things that the likelihood of 'burn out' is high which could be solved by increased management-staff dialogue.
