Factors of industrial growth in the Republic of Belarus in 1996-2003 - dynamic analysis using business surveys
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the factors contributing to industrial growth in Republic of Belarus from 1996-2003 is presented. Belarus is one of the countries that are formed from the disintegration of erstwhile Soviet Union. The country's economy is changing from socialist economy to capitalist economy. The trends in the country's industrial production, industrial growth, labor market, production capacities, quality and quantity of resource utilization etc., are discussed based on surveys conducted on businesses.
