"Knowing whether," "knowing that," and the cardinality of state spaces
Article Abstract:
'Knowing whether' is more convenient to use than 'knowing that' because of the simple logical relationships formed. In contrast, 'knowing that' creates a complex set of logical relationships. However, the use of 'whether' rather than 'that' eliminates these complications. Alternating 'knowing whether' operators of various agents forms very simple logical relationships that are logically independent.

On the nonexistence of universal information structures
Article Abstract:
According to Heifetz and Samet there exists no universal knowledge space to which every knowledge space can be mapped in a knowledge preserving manner. A study proposing analogous result holds in the more general context of information structures is presented. These structures can be viewed as generalizations of knowledge spaces that describe non-probabilistic beliefs.
