Man-Made Upsets
Article Abstract:
The Royal Society of London has published an intensive study of the nitrogen cycle in Britain. Some results are disturbing. Included in the study are ways in which man has interfered with the natural nitrogen cycle. The European Economic Community (EEC) has imposed a ceiling of fifty milligrams of nitrate per liter of water. The Royal Society feels this regulation is too strict. Nitrogen pollution will be diminished by reducing the amount of free nitrate released.

DIY Made Easier
Article Abstract:
With the new chips carrying so many circuits, it makes sense for customers to design their own. Standard chips give too many circuits the designer does not want. Companies are offering systems designers programmable logic devices, gate arrays, standard cells, and cell compilers.
