Policies for economic growth
Article Abstract:
A comparison between the assumptions and conclusions of 'old' growth theory of the 1950s andthe 'new' growth theory of the 1980s was conducted. It revealed that the assumptions of the 'new' growth theory about the scope of economic policies have yet to be confirmed or denied. Nonetheless, the study supports the belief that increased levels of investment in the form of human resources, technological knowledge and infrastructure are needed to stimulate permanent changes in growth rate.

The optimal economic order: the simplest model
Article Abstract:
The key concept in determining optimal economic orders for individual countries and the international economy is the optimal redistribution of income. Consequently, a study to determine the optimal equilibrium level was conducted. The results showed that a 0.77 redistribution level was appropriate for individual nations and the international economy. However, further studies are still required to determine the appropriate time period for such redistributions.
