The "fundamental transformation" in macroeconomics
Article Abstract:
Fundamental transformation, the transfer from a competitive environment to a a bilateral monopoly setting as a result of joint production agreements, presents appropriability and specificity issues. A minimalist model that factors in production and supply units is used. The results suggest a need to integrate increases in creation incentives with the maintenance of existing production structures.
