A Victorian idea that could do with restoration
Article Abstract:
A government proposal to allow further education colleges to award foundation degrees is supported. It is suggested that dual-sector institutions offering academic and vocational courses deserve more autonomy, which would allow restoration of an effective Victorian concept that enabled wider participation.

The contract formed by commercial lawyers for the Association of University Administration curbs the rights of students according to the National Union of Student. The students can not place their grievances against any institutional malfunction.
