Article Abstract:
The original manuscript for Mark Twain's Hucklebury Finn has been published in the US, and there is a dispute as to its significance. Some unpublished episodes may have been omitted from the final edition for quality reasons. The episodes also show a dark side of life, but so does the original. There is also a debate as to how original the manuscript is, and scholars are working on another edition through the Mark Twain Project, which could see its funds affected.
