Daniel Lloyd, award-winning "neurophilosopher" and professor of philosophy at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut, is aiming to get across his new theory of consciousness with his book "Radiant Cool", which is part detective novel and part guide to the neural net. The central concepts and storyline of the book are analysed.
