Article Abstract:
A profile of the services offered by the Dana Centre, a part of the Science Museum in London, UK, which aims to bring art and science together in order to, according to Science Museum director Lindsay Sharp, provide "a working laboratory for science dialogue". It is argued that with the Dana Centre, the Science Museum has caught up with other countries, such as France, in offering a space provided by the state in which members of the public and paid workers can come together to organise interesting cultural events.
