Brush up act on pay
Article Abstract:
University manual workers - those doing the cleaning, gardening, catering etc - are being dealt with unfairly when it comes to wage increases, especially when compared to the wage increases received by vice-chancellors. While it is accepted that the vice-chancellor has a tough job to do, it is argued that it is not unreasonable to expect the vice-chancellor to accept the same sort of percentage increase as those at the bottom of the pay scale.
