Charity begins on campus
Article Abstract:
Charitities in the United Kingdom are concerned that educational establishments are undermining their ability to raise funds, with a move by univerisities to seek funds from private sources. Older and better known universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford and London, are better able to capture funds, and can afford to pay high salaries to fund raisers. The univerisities claim they are enlarging the market, and thus not taking resources away from charities.
