Article Abstract:
A return to feminist discourse on campus is needed as hypersexualisation of youth and 'raunch culture' have exposed women to sex at a younger age and left them feeling insecure and dissatisfied. At a conference at Goldsmiths, University of London, in June 2006, Susie Orbach, author and psychotherapist, spoke of young women suffering from 'desperate insecurity and bidy hatred' despite success in the world of school and work.
