Driven to distraction by the charge of the green brigade
Article Abstract:
Issues relating to efforts to force cars off university campuses in the United Kingdom through the imposition of parking fees and the anger that this has generated in academics are examined. It is suggested that, given the national drive towards green transportation policies, academics may be wasting their time trying to come up with a solution that is acceptable to all parties and that perhaps they should think about getting an electric bike instead.

Staff I boycott could be sued
Article Abstract:

The university seems to be the first to have published such a warning but a legal expert has said that if action goes beyond 12 weeks, universities would be able to fire staff even if industrial action was legal.
